Cassis

Cassis Birgit Staudt has been a composer, arranger and producer working on international film music soundtracks for successful features and documentaries. Amongst them are FERRY TALES, Oscar nominated in 2004 and the award winning features ABOUT A GIRL and ZODIAC SIGN. Trained in the film industry as a film producer (one of the Jim Jarmusch directed segments of Coffee and Cigarettes she produced won the Golden Palm at the Cannes International Filmfestival) with a classical music background from the music university in Hamburg, Germany - Cassis has a special sensitivity for Music for Movies. Her leading the band b-blush for 10 years as a composer, and singer backed up by her virtuoso accordion playing has featured her as a skilled songwriter (www.b-blush.com). She works internationally, scores for orchestra, choir or a 4 piece band and creates her demos in Logic. Molding her style to support the images Cassis will make any film project unique.
