David Seitz

David Seitz is a producer with studios in both Manhattan and Woodstock, NY. His production credits include recordings by such artists as Jeff Buckley, Dar Williams, John Wesley Harding, Suzanne Vega, Shawn Colvin, Eric Anderson, Susan Mckeown and Stand. Several of these recordings have won and/or been nominated for AFIM (Association for Independent Music) Awards, the "grammy awards" for independent music.

David's latest projects reflect a new interest in blending modern technology (e.g. some of the esthetics of electronica) and acoustic-based music. When done well, the swirling drum loops, other-worldly guitar sounds and well-placed samples can add new colors to the musical palate, helping the artist to create a more detailed and powerful picture.
